High presence of tourists in Santa Lucía's pole

Camagüey, Jan 30 Santa Lucía's spa, one of the biggest of Cuba, reports in the current high season an average of a thousand 800 foreign tourists' daily occupation, 200 more than in the previous year.

Located to the north of the county Camagüey and with an extension of beach of 19 kilometers, that area has among its attractions the proximity of the coralline barrier that skirts the north coast of the Island, and includes 34 diving points where ships sunken and great variety of fish can be appreciated.

In spite of the affectations caused by the step of the hurricane Ike, the one thousand rooms that add to the four hotels and all their services are in full functioning, explained Berta Rodríguez, especialist of the Provincial Delegation of the Ministery of the Turism.

Its hotel plant, integrated by Oasis Breezes Santa Lucía, Club Santa Lucía, Hotel Club Friends Snail and Club Friend Mayanabo belongs to the chain Cubanacán, and some have administration contracts shared with foreighner signatures .

The visitors can enjoy, among the optional , of several trips that include traveled by the city of Camagüey whose urban historical center was declared Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity recently.

They are also trips to Beautiful Beach in Sabinal Key, and to the biggest reservation in rosy flamingos of the Caribbean, in the outlet of the Maximum river.
