Outstanding Cuban musician declares very happy

Wilfredo (Pachy) Naranjo, one of the big Cuban musicians of the present time, was declared happy and willing to continue creating, when completing today 60 years of age in this city of the county of Granma.

Camagüey prepared for cyclonal season

Camagüey. The new cyclonal season began this Monday, June 1st, in the municipality of Camagüey, under the premise of advancing as much as it is possible in the reduction of the risks in the economic objectives and communities of the town.

The Government and the Union of Journalists exchange in Camagüey

The execution of the program of energy saving, the production of foods and the work of the workers of the company of Communal in the region of Camagüey, were analysis topics during the encounter that systematically sustain the Council of Provincial Administration (CAP) of the Popular Power and the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC) in Camagüey.

In the meeting, presided over by Jesus García Collazo, president of the Provincial Government's Assembly,offered a detailed report of the energy consumption in the territory, of how of 107 percent, the county has already stabilized the generation food to 100 percent.

This is due to, among other aspects, to the measures adopted in the 61 companies of discharges demands and the deployed popularization work by the press and other organisms of the territory with the population.

Abel Romero, vice-president of the Council of Provincial Administration explained that among the saving actions stand out: Concentration of the production for areas and schedules, substitution of obsolete teams and of high consumptions, control of external stars and intern in diverse entities, appropriate use of refrigeration teams, guaranteeing the hermeticism and maintenance to the pipes of different grosor, to avoid exits of cold and heat.

The representatives of the Union of the Journalists of Cuba in Camagüey received an opportune information about the production of foods, of the program of seed of cultivations of short cycles, the investments to electrify the watering and the march of delivery of milk to the industry.

Orlando Gutiérrez, vice-delegate of the Agriculture pointed out: “We are making emphasis in the bean seed, rice, production of eggs and meat of pigs, because there is a mounted program with wide possibilities of achieving high yields in these activities. In the storing of milk stamps with positive indicators and we hope to give 91 million liters to the industry, only county of the country with this plan.”

The members of CAP and the UPEC in Camagüey also exchanged on
