People of Camagüey celebrates act for the Juridical Worker's National Day

Camagüey. The Cuban jurists take place today their Day in homage to Ignacio Agramonte and like part of the activities for the day of June 8, Camagüey was worthy of the national act for the date.

This time that the headquarters relapsed in The Adult's homeland coincided who in 1865 carried out its grade exercises to defend the thesis of Civil Right and Canon in the Real one and Pontifíc University of Havana with a lit intervention that allowed to see the strong feeling antiespaniard of the Creole bourgeoisie, the same one that impelled at the beginning of the war independentist in 1868.

Other contributions of Agramonte to the history of the Cuban right, was their direct participation in the elaboration of the first nationalist Constitution edited in April of 1869 in the insurgent town of Guáimaro.

As for the activities of this 2009, highlight the ceremony in the Office of the Historian of the City, where the prizes of the scientific societies, the reward like outstanding county were granted to Camagüey and diplomas to the outstanding jurists of the territory.

Also, it was given to Salvador Villalobos the prize “June 8”, of the Ability of Right of the University of Camagüey, for their participation in investigations and educational activity; while the National prize “Ignacio Agramonte” it corresponded Bárbara Victoria Hidalgo and Alberto Gan Prado.

As colophon of the day, the group of the professionals of the Right deposited a floral offering before the equestrian statue of the Park Agramonte, one of the places of interest that conform the Humanity's Center Historical declared Patrimony.(Oreidis Pimentel Pérez )
