Camaguey Readies to Celebrate May Day

Camagüey, Apr 23.- For celebrating the International Workers' Day, the youth in Camaguey together with the Cuban Worker’s Central Trade Union (CTC).in this eastern province, have planned several actions including those related to the food production.

For being faithful to the slogan of this May Day celebration, which reads “United, Productive and Efficient”, members of the Communist Youth League (UJC) Provincial Committee will be mobilized for a voluntary work at “La Victoria” Cooperative Farm.

Likewise, members of the Asociación Hermanos Saís (AHS), an organiztion of young artists and writers, and members of “José Martí” Art Instructors Brigade will exhibit their works at a graphic exposition to be held at Mace boulevard on April 29.

The International Workers' Day is a holiday in Cuba, where the working people march in all cities and towns of the island nation endorsing the cause of the Revolution and the leadership of the Communist party. (Loipa Araujo Hernández/Radio Cadena Agramonte).
