Plant of Liquefied Gas in Camagüey in favor of the environment

Camagüey. The Plant of Liquefied Gas belonging to the Comercializator of Fuels, CUPET-Camagüey, highlights among the entities badges of that company and of the Basic Industry in the territory, for the systematic realization of actions in favor of the environment.

Confirms this way the presented application this year to the Unit of Environment in the county, to maintain the National Environmental Recognition, obtained in the 2006 and that every three years is ratified, in the event of maintaining a responsible attitude toward the atmosphere.

Liquefied gas of Camagüey was also, the first entity of the city in certifying, last year, the System of Environmental Administration, according to the norm ISO 14001, guided to prevent the contamination in balance with the socioeconomic functions.

This year the celebration in Camagüey for June 5, World Day of the Environment will take place in the Company Comercializator of Fuels and in such an appointment the referred dependence has had a protagonistic list. (Yamylé Fernández Rodríguez)
