Cuban students of Medicine to Venezuela

Forty students of 6th. year of Medicine, of the Medical University Carlos J. Finlay, of this city, will complete the 500 of the Contingent Doctor Mario Muñoz Monroy of the country that go toward the Bolivarian Republi of Venezuela with same requirements, with a view to carrying out its period of boarding school, with the inclusion of the state exam and graduation, foreseen for the month of July , 2010.

These will work in the clinics of the Mission Barrio Adentro, and will be located by counties in the different states, that is to say, all the people of Camagüey will be together, that which allows the support and attention differed by each one of the territories, as the doctor informed María del Carmen Romero Sánchez, Rector of the High Center of Studies.

Without place to doubts, such a decision is part of the contribution from the country to the contribution of the project of the Mission Barrio Adentro, although this way for the first time, it is something special, even, it is expected they make thier two years of specialization of Integral General Medicine (MGI) there.

Another students group, of the same course, were selected to receive a Graduate of Intensive Therapy. Their studies will begin in February and they will be located in the rooms of municipal, provincial intensive therapies, or outside of Cuba, where they are necessary, and they are also part of the Contingent.

Of those selected more than 90 percent integrate the vanguard Mario Muñoz that we already had from the 2nd. year of the career, the doctor Romero added. They are integrally outstanding students like it is established, not only in the teaching.

That man that tried to cure to his Homeland in those times of the most serious illness: the disparate politics.
