A work of art of the painter Isabel de las Mercedes, was donated to the Museum Fifth Simoni, Marries of the Woman of Camagüey, for the members of the cultural project that continues its work.
The painting is titled Montecarlo; it dates of the year 1992 and it is in the museum thanks to a donation of the Cultural Project of Art Naif Isabel de las Mercedes.
Starting from now, the work passes to be part of the museable bottom of the institution of Camagüey that stores the feminine chore of the women of Camagüey.
The Cultural Project of Art Naif, Isabel de las Mercedes, already has two years of having created, and is integrated by some 19 artists of the county that cultivate the promitivist painting.
Isabel de las Mercedes Guerra Rodríguez was born in Camagüey, in 1922, and died at the 80 years, leaving a coarse pictorial work that carried out in a self taught way. (Mariela Peña Seguí).
