Quick recovery of fishing company of Camagüey

Santa Cruz del Sur, Dec16.The fishing and industrial company EPISUR, with base in this city of the county of Camagüey, shows a quick recovery of the severe damages caused by the hurricane Paloma, at the beginning of November.
The industrial area of the entity suffered considerable affectations in its system of cold (refrigerators, drivers and production of ice), among other damages.
Asdel Fuentes, of the team of boss of EPISUR, assured to the AIN that however, that part of the company is completely reestablished.
At this time the industry processes shrimp of the ponds of intensive cultivation in the proximities of the town, and lobster of the fleet dedicated to this fishing in the platform of the Caribbean Sea.
The official added that of the eight ships collapsed by the winds of the meteor and the violent penetration of the sea, two were recovered, and to the other ones were taken out his motors and accessories.
Apart from the rehabilitation works that are carried out still, EPISUR is buried in the repair of the ships that will begin by the middle of the coming January the shrimp capture in next waters to the cayería of” The 12 Leagues” or “Gardens of the Queen”, in the south of the county.

Peasants of Camagüey donate foods

Camagüey, Dec 16. The affiliated peasants in the county of Camagüey to the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), donated in the year more than 55 tons of agricultural foods to assistance institutions.
Solidary practice that turn for several years, the contribution carries out monthly and consists on viandas, vegetables, grains, citric, fruits and species, besides cheese, eggs and bee honey.
The benefitted centers are 18 maternal homes, two for children without help branch, three of old men and the one of physical and mental handicapped, and also 10 infantile circles.
In that contribution intervene cooperative of Agricultural Production (CPA) and of Credits and Services (CCS), and the contribution of the current year means an I mount of about 36 thousand pesos.
That participation reinforces the feeding of the patients and children in the institutions.
After the impact to Camagüey in September of the hurricane Ike, the CCS Alfredo López Brito, of Sancti Spíritus, paid gratuitously around 10 tons of agricultural products to several of assistance centers to replace the deficit for the damages of the meteor.
