Camilo Cienfuegos is without doubts the most charismatic hero in the Cuban revolutionary process.

His physical disappearance, one October 28 shivered to the whole Cuban town.

It had left in a small airplane from the airport of the city of Camagüey toward the Havana, but it never arrived. Days of anguishes were those.Thousands of men and women left to look for him. Nobody admitted that Camilo, the guerilla fighter of the wide smile, of the alone hat , the only one that was allowed to revel with the Che was dead.

And he became leyend…and his example of faithful soldier grew.

Each October 28 thousands pioneers come closer to rivers and seas of the whole island to toss him flowers, it is one of the most beautiful homages that takes place in Cuba.

Palitroque invites the Caribbean

The Cultural Complex Caribe, in the city of Camagüey opens every Sunday to the infantile flock and a magic world discovers young artists.

It is a project that knows how to use to the best center nocturne in favorable scenary where the family of Camagüey finds one of the best recreational options of weekend.

The clown “Palitroque” is the host of the show. With astonishment the spectators applaud the artists of the culture house Ignacio Agramante especially to the girl that executes the drawer rumba.

The matinee of the Complex Caribe takes place every Sunday starting from nine in the morning.

Show Special Schools in Camagüey

An attention and careful education receive in Camagüey the students of the different special schools with which it counts the territory of Camagüey. Without doubts, a noble and human task the one of creating, to educate and to give encouragement to children with intellectual discapacity.

That is the useful mission of the community of the school of labor training Manuel Ascunce Domenech", of the capital of Camagüey that prepares infants ambulatorily with increased moderate mental delay, including to down syndromes.

In different shops, the training includes manual, domestic arts, calculation, library, sports and general culture.

Those that study here, with ages between the 12 and 23 years, they receive an appropriate training, to improve their motive, behavioral, auditory, visual dysfunctions, psiquiatric and in the language.

With 35 students the center in its fourth course, has 27 students at the moment, already, those that thanks to the magic full with love with which here they are, they possess a better preparation to face the life.

Liz Rodríguez Pérez, directress of the center explains that it is a great challenge for the community of professors the teaching of these children that get ready for a better life in the home and in the community.

"We have a very professional cloister, she said, and with great experience, what helps me overdrive, because I am of new promotion and I have to much still learn in this noble task."
In conversation with students like Yordanis Díaz listens that there they make caps, puppets, carpets, markers, practice sports and they rehearse diverse musical numbers that allow them to represent them in different festivals.

On the other hand Norma Fernández, mother of one of the children with discapacity expressed:
"I feel satisfied of the teaching that receive here, it is incredible what learn and how they get ready for the life. Now there is a project of the Sectoral of Education that favors those that turn 23 years, because will be able to continue their studies in this opportune and wonderful center."
