Labor Day: Students from 50 Countries to Parade in Camagüey

Camagüey. Representing Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East, foreign students that are taking courses in Camagüey will endorse the Cuban Revolution participating in May Day parade tomorrow at Ignacio Agramonte Revolution Square.

Francisco López Domínguez who heads the provincial office of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) told press that these friends will demand the immediate release of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters who are unjustly serving long prison sentences in US jails.

The block of these young foreign students – known as the solidarity block- will wave a huge banner in which the 100 000 hours of voluntary work accumulated since 1990 by the International Brigade Amigos de Cuba will be acknowledged.

Foreign students from some 50 nations will ratify this Friday the international support towards the Cuba and its Revolution. (Yamylé Fernández Rodríguez).
