Website on Che Guevara to Open Soon

SANTA CLARA, Cuba. A website on the life and work of Argentinean-born revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara will be soon available online in the digital page of the Vanguardia newspaper of this city.

The website, currently under testing, was the graduation project of Ivey Leon Muñoz and Randy Bartumeu, who recently concluded computer sciences studies at the province's technical institute of the speciality.

Leon Muñoz told ACN news agency that the site contains information about the revolutionary actions of Che Guevara, his written works including letters, and a wide picture gallery covering several stages of Che's life. It will introduce visitors to Che's passion for chess, and other
hobbies and also will provide information on the monuments that are erected in his honor in Santa Clara.

Javier Sevilla, Vanguardia's computer expert, explained that the website dedicated to Che will be hosted by Santa Clara's newspaper, the city where Che's remains are kept.

Sevilla noted that the website will serve to organize information on internet about Ernesto Guevara, to help journalists, students and all those interested in learning about the legendary Argentinean-Cuban revolutionary.
