Camagüey. A recognition for its results of environmental protection to the Comercializer Company of Fuels of Camagüey centered yesterday the provincial celebration of the World Day of the Environment.
That dependence of CubaPetróleo (CUPET) won the headquarters of the territorial act for the anniversary.
The entity enrolls so that its three units of operations receive the certification of the System of Environmental Administration, already obtained by the deposit of liquefied gas that registers achievements like the reduction to the minimum of the internal and external contamination.
One of those actions in the plant is the periodic checking of the quality of the air to determine the presence of emanations of hydrocarbons, included the checkups to several kilometers of distance.
In the yesterday act of the main environmental projects was exposed also in the county, among them, to revert the damages caused to the nature by the hurricanes Ike and Paloma, and the continuation of the work in a segment of the archipelago Savanna-Camagüey.
The encounter also inserted the delivery of stimuli to entities like the protected areas of the outlet of the Maximum river and Lemon-Tuabaquey, hotel Island of Cuba, fishing sector of Nuevitas and center swinish Star One. (Adolfo Silva Silva )
