Highlight proposals of Day of the Culture in Cascorro

For the variety and quality of its proposals the Day of the Culture in Cascorro was an entire event in that community of Guaimaro last weekend.

Among the propositions was the encounter with Gema Rodríguez, widow of Raúl González of Cascorro, worthy Cuban writer of Two Prizes House of the America.

Linda and learned as always, to her 81 years of age Gema received the homage of the people of Cascorro, shared with the participant intellectuals of the day and she thanked the deference with her person and especially with her lifelong partner.

In the public library of Cascorro followers of Raúl's work and representatives of the popular advice gave to the distinguished invited several present, among them a sculpture in wood with the picture in her interior of the lover husband

She also happened the premiation of the Living room of Popular Craft and the presentation of the book Invitation with the virgins, of the poet of Guaimaro Odalis Leiva Rosabal.

The occasion also motivated to the realization of a poetry recital with local writers as Marian Gómez Chacourt, Rándoll Machado Hernández and Jorge Luis Aias Reina; excellent debates on cinema with Desiderio Borroto Fernández and activities of infantile cultural promotion with Pablo Muñoz and Yaroguis Fraga.
