Fidel Castro distinguished with Order Eagle of Zambia

The leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro was distinguished with the Order of the Eagle of Zambia in First Grade, to have inspired many to fight for the dignity and the equality.

In solemn ceremony in the Palace of the Revolution, Rupiah Bwezani Banda, President of the Republic of Zambia, gave to the General of Army Raúl Castro, President of the Council of State and of Ministers, so high recognition, dedicated to who has dedicated his life to fight for the unprotected and exploited.

Austin Sichinga, Executive Secretary of the House of State of that African country, added in his words that Fidel opted for the personal service and the support to the humanity, as long as it inspired many leaders of the liberation movement by the world.

He specified that also Fidel, even under the rigor of the blockade of United States against Cuba, has maintained in the Island the brand of the solidarity in sectors like the health and the education.

Also, he said, was author of the internationalism with the towns of the African continent and it is considered at world level as an incomparable leader.

Homero Acosta, Secretary of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, thanked the Order conferred toFidel on behalf of the Council of State, of his President and of all the countrymen.

We can assure them, highlighted that the Boss of the Cuban Revolution will receive it as a recognition to the town, at the same time that this way he is also surrendered in particular homage to the thousands of internationalists that combatted in African lands, to those that gave his life.

It constitutes, in a same way, pointed out, a discharge estimates the doctors, professors and technicians that collaborate with other countries of the orb.

He reiterated the gratefulness to the President, government and town of Zambia on behalf of Fidel.

The badge ceremony was preceded by the official greeting to the leader of Zambia, headed by its homologous Raúl Castro, and for the official conversations that both leaders sustained, before Esteban's Knot presence, vice-president of the Council of State.

Also this Monday Rupiah Bwezani Banda, President of the Republic of Zambia, deposit a floral offering to the National Hero José Martí, next to Marcos Rodríguez, vice minister of External Relationships, and walked the memorial of the most universal of the Cuban.
