Sustain official conversations Raúl Castro and President of Algeria

The general of Army Raúl Castro Ruz, president of the Council of State and of Secretaries, received the afternoon of this Tuesday, in the Palace of the Revolution, to the excellent Mister Abdelaziz Bouteflika, president of the Democratic and Popular Algerian Republic who carries out an official and friendly visit to Cuba.

Once concluded the protocol ceremony of greeting, the leaders sustained official conversations for space of two hours, which lapsed in the atmosphere of fraternity, understanding and respect that characterize the relationships among the two countries.

When exchanging on matters of bilateral interest, and about the challenges that Algeria and Cuba, Bouteflika and Raúl expressed satisfaction for the important development reached in the political, economic bonds and in other many spheres, at the same time that they ratified the decision of continuing increasing them.

It also participated in the conversations José Ramón Machado Ventura, first vice-president of the Council of State and of Ministers.

This is presently the third encounter of both leaders year, both previous were in Algeria. The first one in February, during the official visit to the Cuban President's country, and the second in July, when they sustained a wide previous exchange to the XV Summit of the Movement of Not Aligned Countries.

In a parallel way, the members of the two delegations revised the numerous fields of the bilateral collaboration and their favorable perspectives.
