The sugar: decisive line in the economy of Camagüey. Projects of the ALBA favor investments in Camagüey

Havana, March 23 (AIN) More than 20 projects of investments are executed in the county of Camagüey with the support of the Bolivarian Alternative for the America (ALBA), with a view to substitute imports and to elevate the exports.
The Factory of Cement 26 de Julio, of Nuevitas, will improve their industrial technologies.

In the agricultural branch the work is in ten plans, among these those of the Poultry Company, with the construction of a factory of food. Other programs are guided to produce seeds and fruit-bearing, and to develop the livestock ovino-caprino, informs Rebellious Radio in it digital edition.

Also six shops of the slight industry will be created that will give employment to people with physical problems, works will be enlarged and will improve technologies in the Geominer Company the Cocktail of Fertilizers and the Factory of Cement 26 de Julio, all in the municipality of Nuevitas.

Several centers of the alimentary industry will also be benefitted, Iris Cruz territorial delegate of the Ministry of External Trade explained , for the counties of Ciego de Ávila and Camagüey.

Fidel Castro’s Reflections Published in Ukraine

HAVANA, Cuba, March 20 (acn) The book "Fidel Castro. Reflection of the Commander of the Revolution” was launched in Kiev, the Ukraine’s capital, through some fifty media outlets.

The presentation was held in the Cuban embassy, where ambassador Felix León Carballo noted that the book included a selection of the most important articles written by Fidel, translated into Russian.

The diplomat thanked the initiator of the project, Dmitri Tabachnik, deputy to the Ukrainian Parliament, who expressed his interest in the figure of the Cuban Revolution leader, reported Granma newspaper.

The parliamentarian said that the 58 essays compiled –written from March 2007 and November 2008- cover different topics of world interest, from climate change to fuel production, and the U.S policy against Cuba.

Tabachnik recalled his meetings with Fidel, on one of which he gave the Cuban historical leader the "Yaroslav the wise " Order, one of the most important of Ukraine.

The Ukraine deputy said he had never met a Head of State who can talk in details about so many different topics and be able to quote the most diverse statistical figures, with the accuracy of an encyclopaedia.
