Celebrate Swiss concertists and people of Camagüeya the Day of the Cuban Culture

Camagüey - The Swiss piper Antipe da Stella and the duet contrabass of Camagüey and piano "TO piacere", offered in this city a concert dedicated to the Day by the Cuban Culture.

In the musical program presented in "Song without words", habitual space of the duet in the Provincial Library Julio Antonio Mella, interpreted Latin American and European composers' works, among them Carlos Weiski, Peter Wettstein, Roberto Valera and Ástor Piazzolla, informs the place digital Adelante.

Antipe da Stella and "TO piacere" will participate in the Encounter of Latin American Composers and in the inauguration of the XXIV Festival of Contemporary Music, events that will take place in Havana next days 28 and 30, respectively, adds the newspaper.

The European concertist visits Cuba for third occasion, now as integral of the combined Distelfinken, invited by the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) to exchange in the counties of Havana, Cienfuegos, Camagüey and Las Tunas.

Professional instrumentalists and fans conform Distelfinken that will conclude the journey in the Day of the Cuban Culture, also favored by the Swiss Embassy and the Oratory San Felipe Neri, of the Office of the Historian of Havana, adds the page web.

The dueto of Camagüey "TO piacere", only of their type in Cuba, won the First Prize and the Prize to the Cuban Music's better Interpretation, in the First Competition of Interpretation UNEAC of Contrabass Havana 2003.
