Celebrations in Camagüey for the Day of the National Culture

Camagüey, - The pioneer of Camagüey unites to the homage for the Day of the National Culture with the celebration of morning special in each one of the centers of teaching of the county. This activities gave beginning with the intonation of the glorious Hymn of Bayamo, 142 years after being sung by first time.

In the primary school José Luis Tasende the commemoration lapsed between songs and Cuban poetries, interpreted by students that integrate the artistic talent of the center, which receive the orientation and the support of the Instructors of Arts that work there.

Evelyn Cerralgo, one of these artistic promoters, insisted on sharing their opinions on the work that corresponds them to carry out in favor of the development and promotion of the Cuban culture: “Our work requires a lot of zeal and dedication, and has a momentous value, because we are those in charge of fomenting in the smallest the interest for our culture and identity.”

In an exchange between teachers and students, the events of October 20 , 1868, were remembered when the inhabitants of Bayamo intoned the notes of the National Hymn, after the taking of the city for the forces mambisas.

On the other hand, the workers of the House of Culture Ignacio Agramonte in a discharge among friends, to rhythm of boleros, honored to the musician of Camagüey Rafael “Papito García” who has contributed unconditionally to the development of the culture villager, is member of the consulting team of this institution, and also, collaborates in investigations on cultural topics that are carried out in the county.

During the whole day, artistic activities will be developed in the headquarters of this culture house, and in other enclosed centers.
